sorry for he delay with this answer. - It's true, you can use Struts and
StrutsCX in on web application. It's just that with StrutsCX you do not
forward the HttpRequest directly to a JSP but to a Servlet - the
StrutsCXServlet. This will be declared inside the struts-config.xml. The
Controller (Struts Action) and the Modell (i. e. database access in
principle the same in Struts as in StrutsCX).

Hi all,

I'm extending a software with an existing struts application and
thinking
about using strutsCX for a considerable number of to-be-added web forms.
I've read (in the book that's recommended on the website) that strutsCX
can
be easily integrated in existing struts applications. What would I have
to
do to add strutsCX to my application so that JSP and XSLT can coexist?
Does
it run down to adding the StrutsCX servlet and programming my new
actions
accordingly? The book also states that "the container and model
components
remain unchanged". Does this apply to the contents of struts-config.xml
as
well?
