Hi Deb,

I would like to know if BEA has fixed the problem

http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs61/jconnector/hashcode.html#1044666

which seems to be the rootcause of ClassCast exception

Thanks,

Madhav

Hi Deb,

I'd love to hear the explanation for the ClassCastException even if it does
not apply to Jason's problem. Also, when you say there is a "good reason"
for it, does that mean it is a feature or it is an architectural limitation
that is hard to overcome?

Thanks,

Hi Jason!

Are you having this CastClassException with an application client calls
ConnectionFactory.getConnection()? If so, there is a good reason for this
(which I'll explain). Please let me know because I'd like to help.
