JCA Statistics

Hi,
I need to provide statistics about our Resource Adapter and want to do so in
a JCA compliant manner  This statistical data would likely include the size
of the logical connection pools, data about the ManagedConnection, how long
connections were being used, etc.  I was reviewing the j2ee v1.4 apis and
noticed that the javax.management.j2ee.statistics package contained some
interfaces related to the JCA.  I didn't see a mention of these in the 1.5
spec.  Does anyone know the significance of the JCAStats,
JCAConnectionStats, and JCAConnectionPoolStats interfaces?
