AW: Inbound / Outbound communication in JCA 1.5

this question.


Hello!

I am a bit confused after reading several contradicting
statements about the kind of communication that JCA 1.5
will support.

I hope that someone on the list can tell me something
about:

* Asynchronous outbound:
  How can I initiate asynchronous communication
  with an EIS using the Connector Architecture?

* Synchronous inbound:
  How can my J2EE application be synchronously called
  by an EIS through the Connector Architecture?

The specification does not explicitly mention these forms
of communication so I assume they are not supported by
the standard.
