Porter Draft Proposals

Sun Microsystems intends in the near future to submit 22 Proposals
covering both licensing and technical changes to 40 existing
specifications plus one new specification to the Jini Community(SM) for
approval as Standards under the Jini Community Decision Process (JDP).
The number of specifications is large in part because we expect to be
proposing licensing changes in addition to technical changes. The number
of proposals is large because, based on earlier feedback from the
community, we intend to place independent specification changes into
independent proposals.

At this time we are providing drafts of the technical changes for review:
 * Summaries of the draft technical changes
 * New and revised draft specifications
 * Marked-up differences between existing and draft specifications
   (subject to the limitations of JDiff, and change bars in PDF files)
