FYI: + additional info for JavaSpaces users, Blitz for Jini 2.1b is included... ----- Original Message ----- From: Inca X To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, April 27, 2005 8:18 PM Subject: Eclipse plugin for Jini 2.1b - community edition Dear All, I am pleased to announce the beta release of our new Community Edition plugin for Eclipse and Jini 2.1b. This is a free download available from the URL below, which has instructions on how to use and install the software directly via the Eclipse "Software updates" options. You need Eclipse version 3.0 or above to install this plugin. http://www.incax.com/docs/eclipse-ce Due to license changes for Jini 2.1b we are now able to provide users with a complete installation package that includes the Jini 2.1b binaries - so when you install the plugin there are no additional steps to take. A *massive* thank you goes to the Jini Team for making this possible. This version of our Eclipse plugin has been specifically designed for people new to Jini, so the functionality has been limited so not overwhelm or "freak out" developers new to Jini with all the possible options available to them. I hope that this freely downloadable version for the plugin will help to get more people started and experimenting with our favorite technology. Thanks you for your time.
