Message to all Commercial Licensees in the Jini Community...

********************************************************
Nominations are now being accepted for a seat on
the Jini Technical Oversight Committee (TOC) from
   the Commercial House
********************************************************

The Jini TOC is an oversight body for the Community, made
  up equally of:
    * 3 representatives from the General House (individuals),
    * 3 representatives from the Commercial House (commercial
      licensees), and
    * 3 representatives from the Sun

You can find out more information on the Jini TOC at:
      - the TOC project on Jini.org, http://toc.jini.org
      - the Jini Community Decision Process (JDP) documents
at http://jini.org/jdp/v0.7 , including the TOC Roles
        document at http://jini.org/jdp/v0.7/TOCRoles.html

The term for a seat on the Jini TOC is two years. The terms
of the 3 Commercial House seats are staggered to preserve
some continuity on the committee over time. The term which is
expiring is the seat held by Michael Ogg. Frank Sommers and
Calum Shaw-Mackay are the other two Commercial House Jini
TOC members. Their terms run through June, 2006.
