Announcing the 9th Jini Community Meeting(!), to
be held at the Hilton Chicago in downtown Chicago
on Oct 19-20, 2005.

A lot is happening with Jini technology and in the
Jini Community -- and this will be *the* place to
be this fall to get fully immersed. We've got a great
location... and are expecting two full and exciting
days, with a mix of presentations and discussion (and
most certainly, sharing a pint or two :-)).

The web site has all the details on meeting location,
accommodations, etc. but I'd like to draw your attention
to a couple of time sensitive items:

-- Call for Papers
    Commercial uses, deployments, community projects, technical
    ideas, prototypes, community building, design philosophy,
    business issues, etc. Jini Community Meetings are made up of
    a wide range of presentations. These form the key to having
    a great meeting. Please consider proposing a talk for the meeting.
    The deadline for the Call for Papers is September 6th.

-- Registration
    There is no fee to attend the Meeting, but space is limited,
    so best to register early.
