All -

Due to my recent changing of job to another company, the work done on
some of my projects has slowed somewhat. That being said, I'm
endeavouring to continue these projects in my spare time. Listed below
are the projects affected, with some information (if known at current
time) on the next release for each one.

Thor & Eros- relicense to ALv2 and release 1.0 final
Athena - relicense to Alv2, more performance work and memory leak hunting

Neon -
* Dependency Injection engine Phase 1 to complete (60% complete)
* Restart from stored agents in space (100% complete)
* Agent Dependency detection - Neon knows what agents you need, once
you've asked for them once (90% complete)
* Automatic reprioritising and ranking of agents starts to take into
account inter-agent dependencies (90% complete)
*   Jini 2.1 compliant (reqs Javaspace05 compliant space -
incidentally restart and shutdowns are now over 10 times (minimum)
faster by using the new batch operations)

This ends up with - it doesn't matter what order you started your
agents initially or what order they come out of the space in, Neon
automatically re-orders and optimises restarting your agents to
satisfy the dependencies you have. (95% complete).

All this is required prior to work needed to be done for Slices (
http://neon.jini.org/nonav/slices.html ).

The above work for Neon 0.2 (excepting, perhaps, the DI) should be
finished this week.

Thor should be released v. soon, as there is little coding/testing
work to be done prioir to the 1.0 release

Kind regards
