If you are using the Inca X IDE v4 you can export services to the file system from the runtime tab.

Right click on the Javaspace you want to export and then select "Export service | To file system"

Select a target directory and the IDE will generate the start scripts and config files you need to run the service independently of Inca X.

One caveat, for Activatable services, you will have to set up and configure Pheonix (Jini's activation system) yourself. There some example scripts for phoenix at http://www.incax.com/downloads/phoenix-example.zip

If you are using one of the Inca X plugin and you don't have a commercial licence, then you'll have to enable the 30 day developer trial and use the admin client in the same way as described above.

I hope that helps and if you have any Inca X specific questions please send them to [email protected] rather than the list.

  Subject: IncaX and JavaSpace

We made a javaspace program using IncaX Community Edition version 4.
Now, we dont know how to setup javaspace and the transaction manager without
IncaX, thus we can't use the program without it..

  Please help.

  Thanks,

  Jay
