Thanks, Peter - this is a significant happening (and will certainly help
visibility for Jini and JavaSpaces).
Van has such an engaging way of explaining things... it's a very
interesting interview where Van provides an overview of the technical
concepts in Jini, the fallacies, history, an introduction to his new
Computecycles project, and SunGrid.
The interview went so well that the Posse has made it into 3 parts
(this is Part 1 that was released).
One of my favorite lines (as he was explaining the code mobility and
remote execution notions in Jini):
"..this notion of downloadable code has already been tried in the
Microsoft world... they call it a virus."
Now that's funny. :-)
