Hi Thomas, Yea sorry pasted the wrong file : here is the right one java -classpath C:/project/jini/ -Djava.security.policy=C:/project/jini/config/policy.all -jar C:/jini2_1/lib/start.jar C:/project/jini/config/starter/start-service.config ' correct annotation (as previously suspected). ' - what do you mean annotation - what class/term etc should I be reviewing ? When you don't implement RemoteIface, this is not a problem your proxy would get resolved because the other two interfaces are available in the browser's classloader hierarchy. I just happened to notice that you said you were starting your service with the command line: java -jar start.jar ServiceStarter config/starter/start-service.config I don't know how that would work (I would've expected it to fail without a proper security policy. Moreover it would think that the configuration file was ServiceStarter). Please see the com.sun.jini.start package documentation for examples. Also make sure that your service implementation is *not* part of the service starter's classpath. -- - vinod Internal Virus Database is out-of-date. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
