You get a lot of functionality in the JDK. I'd try there first. My thought on using lots of different projects is that I don't mind looking at OS code and more often than not, if it is a well known project, it will be stable and they will take patches. Therefore, I tend to use lots of other projects in a well structured manner and try to write very little. You just have to make sure you pick good code to use and stay away from dead projects. AND most importantly, don't be afraid to dive into OS code and fix bugs. You'll save time in the long run in most cases this way (I've found). -bp -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Getting Started: http://www.jini.org/wiki/Category:Getting_Started Community Web Site: http://jini.org jini-users Archive: http://archives.java.sun.com/archives/jini-users.html Unsubscribing: email "signoff JINI-USERS" to [email protected]
