Hi Im facing the following problem regarding JINI: --> Is it enough that i start the "launch-all.exe" to activate all the jini services? , or do i explicitely need to start the jini services (HTTP- D,REGGIE,RMID) as it is with the default "hello World" example. Here fisrt we gotta start HTTP-D server first and then REGGIE server and then RMID server and finally the we start the user defined server and client. So,do i need to follow te same procedure as it is with the default example or "Launch-all.exe" would serve the purpose of all the jini services..? Note: I have run all my services using "launch-all.exe". --> In the user interface of JINI 2.1, my service is being registered as "unknown" (with a cross mark on it,in the registrar tab of launch-all.exe). How do i register(with name) my service with a string. -->In the default command prompt of launch-all.exe i get errors regarding unmarshalling and serializable. Though i get errors here, my services(which are registered as "unkown") is properly running and client dynamically discovers all diferent services. --> How can i communicate with the server (as usually the entire object is being transfered to client). I want to acknowledge at the server end. How do i succeed in doing this.? Please help me out in solving these problems at the earliest.
