Serial Provider issue

Hi,
I am struggling to workout with my JTapi code. I am getting the very
basic prblem. I can not getProvider. It always fails on getting the
codec. I think my modem is not a voice modem. I am using US Robotics
x5630-01. can any body help me by suggesting me which modem I should
use. I need some low cost solution. Like some external modem. I am
using Linux fedora core2. I don't know how to configure the internal
modems. so please recommend some external modem which can work with my
code. I live in pakistan. here I have checked that 5605 is not
available in markets. please give me the number of some latest model.
