I need to build an application that enables a PC to call center platform =
both as mobile phone and as a regular phone using a modem or a dialogic =
card.

Tell me : Do you use the same API for both modem and Dialogic Cards such =
as JCT120-LS ?


Does that API implements a provider for mobile phones?

GJTAPI (http://gjtapi.sourceforge.net/) is an open-source implementation
of JTAPI that includes both the API files as well as an implementation
with plug-ins for Asterisk, SIP, TAPI 3.0, Dialogic and Voice Modems. I
don't know if this is the kind of thing you are looking for.

JTAPI is a specification only -- you have to find an implementation of
the spec. for the telephony platform you are using. Many vendors, such
as Cisco, Lucent, IBM and Netergy, have implementations for their
platform. GJTAPI implements the API and provides a simpler "Service
Provider Interface" to allow for other telephony platforms to be plugged
into it. (Note: I'm one of the GJTAPI project admins)

I hope that gets you started.
