This is related to so called Closed Content List (CCL). Certain types of content is protected against fowarding. This method is used at least on Nokia phones For more information, please check the DRM section at Forum Nokia. http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/resources/technologies/drm_and_download/ index.html at least this document contains more info on CCL http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/f269e8db-bb9b-4de8-9009- bb9c2ec810f2/DRM_Developers_Guide_for_Nokia_Devices_v3_0_en.pdf.html (check Appendix A) best regards Hartti Suomela Forum Nokia -----Original Message----- From: A mailing list for KVM discussion [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of ext [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, January 09, 2008 8:17 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Unable to send protected objects?? Hi everybody, So, I created a small application in WTK, packaged it, and installed the jar file in my cell phone (NOKIA N72). It installs in my cellphone, but when i try to send it via bluetooth to some other device, an alert comes "Unable to send protected objects". I even tried to do this by saving the jar file as a whole in my phone's memory card, and then trying to send it, but still the same message appears... Somebody please help me by explaining the reason for this "protected"ness and also please suggest a method to send the application via bluetooth.
