Phone manufacturers seem to have the habit of only allowing certain file types to be sent via bluetooth (ie pictures etc.) Although being a nokia I think it should be possible, unless the carrier has messed with the phone. May be it is the jar file that is the problem and has some how been 'protected.'
Also renaming the file may not work if nokia checks more than the file name when determining the file type.
So my guess would be either the carrier has messed with the phone (they usually do to some extent.) or the file has some how been protected.
