Sorry for the slow reply. There is no need to convert the jad/jar into a prc. The whole point of a Java ME stack such as J9 is to execute the jar file directly (the Java byte codes). Install the J9 on your Palm, start it, and choose the "Install MIDlet" from the menu (at least, that's how I remember it). It will ask you for the URL of the jad file, download the jar, and then you can run the MIDlet from within J9.
