Looking for Java ME that supports AWT/Swing without XServer

Hi
We are looking for Java for an embedded product (a set-top box) that runs
X86 Linux with a GPU (h/w acceleration for GUI). OpenGL driver is available for
the GPU.
I am wondering whether there is any flavor of Java (Java ME or Java SE) that
can run a GUI app (AWT or Swing based app) without an XServer. I am not
looking for headless mode nor looking for JVM showing GUI or a remote
XServer.
Is there such a flavor of Java ME or SE?
