If the software acceleration is "goog enough" how come most of the games I play on my mobile phone are written in C++ and compiled in native ARM code and not written in Java and compiled in bytecodes? From my knowledge the software development companies pay a huge price for porting their applications from one device to another, a price that would be negligible if the applications would be written in Java.
