I really don't understand your post.

What's the screen saver problem?

Why/how are you using platformrequest to overcome it (I use platformrequest
to launch a call or a web session from within a midlet, nothing to do with
the screen saver).

This message: "internet invalid phone" could be specific to a certain
handset so it would help if you tell us what handset this is occurring on too.

please explain a bit more about the problem, and I'll try to help
