Evidently, what I claimed would happen (quoted below) has not  
happened-- yet.  All I can say is that it was what I was told,  
including emphasis that the decision was final.  And as you might  
suspect from the different email address I'm posting with here, I am  
no longer at Sun, so I can't as easily inquire for a status update.   
I'm glad to see that the LISTSERV is still up for now, but as far as I  
know it may still stop operating any day.
