Dynamic classloading in JDK1.5

Hi, I have not kept myself informed of what has happened in JDK1.5, in fact not even downloaded it yet. However, someone now tells me that in JDK1.5, a security manager is no longer needed for dynamic classloading to work. This sounds a bit ludicrous to me, but before hammering the person to death ;o), I just want to make sure first.
