It would be helpful to see the full stack traces for the entire chain
of exceptions-- as well as the code that you are using to export your
remote object.  Are you trying to export it on an explicit TCP port
number lower than 1024?

(I don't suspect a problem with your Java security policy because such
a problem should result in a java.security.AccessControlException.)
