hi all, we have a RMI application where there are
roughly 4k users. The client is a swing client
and the RMI server is sun's RMI implementation.
The server is a HP superdome, 16 CPUs, plenty
RAM, > 20 gigs I think. Some of the CPUs
are for a DB so its not like all these resources
are dedicated to RMI server.

anyhow, I am wondering at which point (if ever)
do we need to consider other implementations of RMI
and if anyone has some documentation on
load comparisons.

thanks for any suggestions

robert
