any documentation on sun's reference RMI vs weblogic's RMI

hi all, we have a RMI application where there are roughly 4k users. The client is a swing client and the RMI server is sun's RMI implementation. The server is a HP superdome, 16 CPUs, plenty RAM, > 20 gigs I think.
