Hi everybody, I just want to let you know about my RMI implementation - called LipeRMI - which i've made opensource (licensed under LGPL) today. The main goal of LipeRMI is to rewrite Java RMI in such a way it allow calls can be made through Internet (without any change in user network enviroment) and minimize bandwidth usage. Also, this new implementation must offer a Java-RMI-like API, demanding just few adjusts to any RMI-ready application can quickly start using LipeRMI. It is avaliable here: http://lipermi.sourceforge.net - waiting you to test :o) The project is needing now documentation writers, testers and bug reporters to advance and keep it better. I believe the divulgation is the best way to improve an open project, because it puts the project in contact with community. Thanks for now :o) Felipe Santos Andrade =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [email protected] and include in the body of the message "signoff RMI-USERS".
