Hmmm.... With 22 threads or so this year in total, I don't think
"misuse" will kill your productivity. ;-)  Besides, the guy is doing
serialization and from his PoV it might be a serialization issue, and
this list is also about serialization (at least was so when it started
back in 1997)...
