Another question about file upload.

Hello :-)
I read many postings about this topic, but I could not solve my problem :-(

I need to upload files through my HTTP client-application, but it is not an applet (I need to make upload without using browser).
In more details, my application is a chat client and I need to give users a possibility to exchange files (and store some of the files on Server).
So, when I want to transfer files from server to the client – there is no problem – I use BufferedOutputStream and send file. But... unfortunately, I don't know if there is a way to do the similar at the client's side.

Does anybody know how to upload files with client that is not an applet?
Thanks in advance! :-)

Lyubo.
