I believe that you either need to have an X server for the install, or else read up on settting up the response file for a "silent install".

Thanx Rajesh..Have anyone installed WebSphere on SUSE Linux image on Mainframe S/390 machine?? The documentaion I have only explain the installation and configuration with a GUI,but I need to install it using telnet only..
