I had been using tomcat 5 for long time. Recently I tired to learn perl and wrote some CGI code. But I am not able to run my CGI on tomcat.
I came to know that I should have apache server instead of tomcat.
I am confused.
What I downloaded one year back from web was jakarta-tomcat-5.0.25 from apache web site. I can see a entry for cgi servlet mapping in .xml file also which is uncommented.

Can any one tell me the details of actions, so I can run my CGI code in tomcat?
Or may be a good link.

Thanks.
