I had been using tomcat 5 for long time. Recently I tired to learn perl and wrote some CGI code. But I am not able to run my CGI on tomcat. I came to know that I should have apache server instead of tomcat. I am confused. What I downloaded one year back from web was jakarta-tomcat-5.0.25 from apache web site. I can see a entry for cgi servlet mapping in .xml file also which is uncommented. Can any one tell me the details of actions, so I can run my CGI code in tomcat? Or may be a good link. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: A mailing list for discussion about Sun Microsystem's Java Servlet API Technology. on behalf of Rajamani M Sent: Fri 12/3/2004 1:05 AM To: [email protected] Cc: Subject: Tomcat 5.0 Console Redirecting Hai, Can anybody tell me, How to redirect the logs and error messages to Console instead of log file when I am running Tomcat 5.0 as a Service.
