Still getting -1 bytes when data greater than 4095 bytes...

I'm attempting to send data from my MIDlet to a servlet running on
Tomcat 4.0.4. When the data exceeds 4,095 bytes, the servlet
consistently reports the data is -1 bytes in length. Up to 4,095 bytes,
the servlet is reporting the size properly. I can't determine if the
problem is on the server side or on the MIDlet side. The MIDlet's
running within the emulator that ships with Sun's Wireless Toolkit
1.0.4. Both are running on the same machine on Linux. Any ideas?
