Hi,

Have your server set up to listen in port 443, and in your deployment
descriptor web.xml file specify the security constraint (see below tag).

Having this entry in web.xml and restart your server, because of
<url-pattern>/*</url-pattern> it will force to access SSL starting from
root.  You may change according to your requirements, say only /admin and
forward etc.

E.g.,

Say your website is www.appleyard.com, by just typing "appleyard.com" on
browser it will force to go into " http://appleyard.com
<http://appleyard.com> ".  You don't have to type in "https" at all.

How do I call this in ssl mode without having to hardcode in
