Re: Creating an XML document from DTD in Java

JDOM was great when I first looked at it, but it seems no live recently and
no single release comes out. Is there any one knows about the current status
of this project?
After more searching, I found DOM4J http://www.dom4j.org. You may find it a
good alternative.

If you're using Java for XML you'll want to take a look at JDOM - a simple
API for building XML documents. Its at www.jdom.org

Thanx a lot for the timely help. I was under the mis
understanding of reading DTD during run time and
generate the XML document.

Now I understand that, we can not directly generate
the XML document from DTD during runtime. We have to
generate XML document from DTD using some tools like
XML spy and then read that XML to generate the
required XML file.

But I searched java.sun.com for JAXB.JAR. I found only
documentation and specification...I couldnt find the
JAXB.JAR file.
If u know where it is, will u pls let me know.
