Oracle Programmer / Analyst Contract available

Palladian Consulting would like to present a contract opportunity for a
Oracle Programmer / Analyst for a 36 month contract in NYC. The qualified
candidates must reflect the following Experience:

4 yrs exp writing application software, data analysis, data access, data
structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and
implementation, technical and user documentation. Web-based applications
development tools and technologies: Java J2EE, Java Script, HTML,
Dreamweaver, Oracle 8i (Oracle Designer, Oracle Application Server, Oracle
Reports), Crystal Reports, PVCS Version Manager, JSP, ASP, ODBC, SQL,
ActiveX/COM, Visual Basic 6.0, VB Script, MS Project required. Windows NT
and Unix operating systems experience required. Exp developing user
requirements, data model diagrams, functional requirements, and system
specifications, designing system screens and system reports, documenting
code, and writing user guides / manuals. Successful interpersonal skills
relating to users and other MIS staff. Understand and apply either or both
of traditional system life cycle methodologies and rapid application
development methodologies, as applicable to the development needs of the
particular project.

Must be experienced in and apply programming methodologies that conform to
the contracting state agencies standards, in particular Java, Visual Basic,
Oracle database.

The start date is targeted for July 1, 2003
