Import/export to/from db/xml

Hi all,

I am looking for an open source project, that can import/export xml
to/from a relational database.

This is the case; I have an xml schema with xsd metadata info that have
been exported from a database. I want to parse this data into my
application, validate it, retrieve the data and the metadata (types info).

I also want to generate an xml schema (with xsd info) based on the data
I have got from a database.
