Hi Tsvetelin, Howard, and the community,
	I see that several people (including myself) are trying to
develop a tree component for the tapestry. I think the tree component is
very much needed in the tapestry package. The purpose of this email is
to see if we can get all the people on the same page and combine our
respective tree components into one that has the benefits and features
of all of ours individually.
	I would like to start by getting a list of all of the known
projects trying to build a tree component and then listing their
features sets. Then we can somehow exchange our source codes and
hopefully combine it all into one cool tree component with all of the
great features.

Current tree components I know about:

Tsvetelin: http://tree.rushmore-digital.com/tree

Misko: http://www.hevery.com:8123/tree/demo

Features of Misko’s Tree component:
* Runs in both client/server mode
* Notifies node of eventOpen/eventClose/eventClick in both server and
client mode
* Can work in frame or frameless applications
* Fully customizable icons for each node separately
* Support of Tool Tips
* Minimal effort to get Component running
* Node selection/highlighting

Planed Features:
* Ability for pluggable node renders
* Write documentation
