Re: Servlet API 2.3

Normally I am all for new things, but here I have to agree with Eric.

We have a number of clients that have rather old versions of various
software, including really really old installations of Tomcat (security
holes and all). They are not willing to upgrade either. And I am not talking
about small companies here, but rather about companies that have their own
major buildings in the center of London (don't want to mention names at the
moment)

Btw, I can see how getResourcePaths() will help with the implementation of
Tapestry Lite. Perhaps if Tapestry can make a runtime determination of the
servlet API version available and decide on a course of action based on it,
so that it can work with both 2.1 and 2.3, that would be ideal. Basically,
if only non-essential parts are dependent on 2.3, then that would make it
workable.
