You must not have log4j.jar on your classpath.

Tapestry now uses the Jakarta commons-logging package to control logging.

If you don't have log4j.jar on the classpath, and aren't using JDK 1.4, it
defaults to internal logging implementation, which is always on.

Hello Howard,

No, I'm not subscribed to tapestry-commits.
I just grabbed a snapshot of today's CVS repository.
I'm a getting a great amount of output in the console that I really don't
need,
and I can't seem to find a way to disable logging.
I seem to recall of a system property for this exact purpose but I don't
know
which and looking at the source is not helping.
