DatePicker - help!

Hi All,
   I started developing prototype for our company
using Tapestry as framework.I have query about
"DatePicker".
DatePicker allows user to select Date only at the
minute. Is there any option/parameters available to
enable DatePicker to accept time as well. In our
requirement users will not only enter date but also
time of ship berth and etc.., Please let me know if
available and if not how can I make one.!!
Also I wanted to know how can I make DatePicker filed
as required field. I was trying to use Tapestry
StringValidator by enabling its "required" property to
true. But Tapestry rejected by saying DatePicker will
not accept formal parameters!!. Any work around
avaiable!.
