Suggestion for table component.

I have yet another crazy question about the table component (and it's
uses). I want a somewhat simple case where my value renderer is a
directlink (to show more detail on a single item). 
 
I want to define the directlink (and it's wrapped components) in the
page and refer to it by calling getComponents in my column model. The
problem is, that I need access to the current row object, similar to
foreach.value. I have a vague idea that I could refer to the row object
from within the included page through table.tablerows.tablerow.something
or other.. but it seems a strange way of doing it.
 
 
Has anyone else pulled this off?
