Survey - new UI, ideas, prototype

Hi there!

Since a couple of days I'm working on my idea of redesigning the UI of
Tn5250j.
My main goal is to make it lean, intuitive and easier to use.
I've hacked some code and committed it to my branch:

There is one screenshot and one mockup (at thins URL).

A few things to know about this commit:
 * you need at least Java 1.6
 * only tested under Windows, using Eclipse IDE
 * there are some errors in project, but you can start My5250.class
 * see notes in tn5250j-new_ui_embedded_dlg_mockup.txt
 * see notes in tn5250j-new_ui_prototype.txt

Besides the new UI, I want to get rid of most of the internal 'Properties'.
Is much cleaner to use a DataModel. IMHO the prototype shows impressive
improvements regarding readability.
Additionally I want to focus on the tabbed UI.
All major browsers are going this direction. IMHO the MDI concept is dead.

After all, code should get smaller and thus faster to start (think on
applets).
