No too difficult, indeed.
I patched our (commercial) 5250 + XML + XSLT + HTML screen-scraper 
adding basic cursor navigation : after reading a basic intro to 
javascript I acquired the sufficient knowledge in order to intercept the 
cursor keys, to declare the cursor position on screen, on field and to 
handle (my) interesting special cases.

Nobody (no client) asked the full screen navigation, but it will slip 
seamless into the existing mini architecture.

Sorry for being a little (too) bit obscure, but it's a commercial 
product ...
