Hi everybody,
I'm trying to write a script that should send some messages via RS232 when
some infos appear on the AS400 terminal.
I'm using pyserial 2.5 and succesfully installed it inside jython 2.5.3
and then copied the whole jython directory inside tn5250j (0.7.0) lib
directory.
I then wrote the script:
import time
import sun.audio
import java.io
import os
import serial
ser = serial.Serial('COM3', 9600, timeout=1)
ser.write('p')
ser.close()
this runs fine from inside jython command line.
When I open it as a macro from tn5250j i get some errors (hope you can see
the attached file).
The error I get is
File "C:\Users\etichette\Desktop\th5250j\lib\Lib\os.py", line 135, in
<module>
from os.path import (curdir, pardir, sep, pathsep, defpath, extsep,
altsep, devnull)
ImportError: cannot import name curdir
I then followed the error inside os.py file and found out that, on windows
os.path corresponds to ntpath.py so I tried to include this one instead of
"os.path" but I still get the same error.
I think the problem comes from how tn5250j call jython interpreter.
Can someone help me?
