See http://sablevm.org/wiki/Eclipse I don't think it's the final solution though. AFAIK when using Sun's JVM there's no need to use special startup scripts, specifying LD_LIBRARY_PATH to .so files and others. Assuming that we would put a good xml handler on bootclasspath, and forget about the option that turns of locking, what else do we miss? .so files!
