Hi,

*** I think we have to release *now*.

The problem is that I already have little time and it won't change
before the end of term (mid-december). So assuming that I am the one to
make the release, either we release now, or we'll have to wait till
december.

Last release was at the beginning of June, so my opinion is we need to
release ASAP.

*** State of affairs, as I see it.

Very good overall. There's been many improvements and changes, all
performance or functional _regressions_ that happened under way have
been fixed. In other words: I believe that what we have in "staging" is
much better than 1.1.6, from any POV.

*** What's missing for release.

I put the tarballs of current staging at

	http://gadek.debian.net/1.1.7-pre2

I need two "thumbs up" and no "thumbs down" in regards to regressions
in this version compared to 1.1.6 or Debian's 1.1.6-6.

Please test and let me know it works (may be outside of the ML if you
prefer). If you find any regressions (things that used to work but are
broken in this release) *please scream*.

*** Release timeline.

The release should happen at latest 2 days after any possible doubts are
cleared. The official announcements will be sent over the following
days.

Help us see SableVM 1.1.7 by the end of this month!
