Hi, Following the request of Grzegorz to have binary packages and my reply with a Gentoo package that builds SableVM out of the staging branch (see: http://sablevm.org/lists/sablevm-devel/2004-November/000238.html), I made this request to have it in the official tree: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72988 I got a reply that there will be an unofficial java experimental tree in Gentoo suitable for these non-release packages. So the question is about bug handling, Gentoo does not want to handle subversion builds bugs. I thought about adding a message saying to file bugs directly to http://sablevm.org/bugs and use "staging" for the version. What do you think? I volunteer to fix any problems originating from the package itself, if any occur. Do we want to handle bugs report from Gentoonians? I guess a mention that it was built using the Gentoo package could be added to --version.
