This seems to indicate that you have the wrong "java.lang.Class" class.

1- Are you sure you passed and identical "--prefix" option to 
"./configure" of sablevm and sablevm-classpath?

2- Could you try completely removing sablevm and sablevm classpath 
(sources and binaries), and redo the ./configure && make install cycle?

3- If the problem persists, could you make your libclasspath.jar file 
available somewhere and send us the URL?
