Yes, it is possible to contribute to SableVM.  More precisely, SableVM
has a contribution policy that you can read at:

http://sablevm.org/svn/repository/sablevm/trunk/doc/contribution_policy.txt

Have you looked at the existing JVMDI & JDWP implementations in Nizar's
branch of sablevm?  See:
