Thanks for clearing up the JWindow thing. One of our guys only has 
Windows on his personal laptop PC, and he had downloaded JDK 5. He 
recommended to Manuel to use that new JWindow method. Manuel, like the 
rest of us at SNAP, has Linux, SableVM, and JDK 1.4.2 javadoc as 
reference. We weren't sure what was going on! :-)

You're welcome! We're glad for the progress SableVM and GNU Classpath 
have made in the last year. It looks like I bet on the right horse last 
summer (we considered Kaffe, JamVM, SableVM, and GCJ.)

We're #3 at SourceForge this week, and are getting lots of downloads of 
SNAP Platform and SNAPPIX. This should give open source Java 
implementations and SableVM in particular lots of exposure.

Awesome! We hope more collaboration can start flowing between our two 
projects. We're not JVM implementation experts, but we want to help as 
we can, with more bug reports, for one thing. And I keep trying to get 
myself and my guys started on doing regular Mauve unit test submissions, 
and regular Mauve test result reports on the daily SableVM and GNU 
Classpath snapshots. I see that as a way to give back to the community.

Quick question: are you or anyone else from SableVM going to JavaOne or 
OSCON? It would be great to meet and "strategize" over beers.

I'm going to be at JavaOne next week, handing out SNAP Platform 0.8 and 
SNAPPIX 0.8 CDs, and I am trying to get permission for an open source 
Java implementations Birds-Of-a-Feather (BOF) discussion session. We 
hope to have SNAP Platform 1.0 and SNAPPIX 1.0 released at an already 
approved open source Java implementations BOF at OSCON.

We wouldn't mind sharing the limelight, and cast some attention (and 
potential contributors) your way. A rising tide lifts all boats.
